Call For Nominations - Government Records Section Steering Committee


We are still accepting nominations for the Government Records Section Steering Committee!  You have until close of business tomorrow to volunteer to run. The amount of work involved is limited.

We have three openings this year and terms run from August 2018 to August 2020. Steering Committee members must remain SAA members in good standing for the duration of their terms.  Steering Committee members help to craft responses to SAA Council's requests for comments and feedback, help to guide any projects that the section undertakes, and help to organize section meetings. Again, the amount of work involved is fairly limited.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to SAA and to the GRS. Please contact Jessica Knox-Jensen ( or Laura Saegert ( no later than Thursday, May 31st if you are interested in serving or have any questions about the Steering Committee's role and responsibilities.
