SAA's Committee on Research, Data, and Assessment (CORDA) is thrilled to announce that SAA has entered into a memorandum of agreement with the Odum Institute for Research in Social Science at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to establish the "SAA Dataverse"!
Launching later this year, the SAA Dataverse will support active data reuse and reevaluation on behalf of the entire archival community and will welcome data deposits from our designated communities.
In celebration of "Love Data" Week (February 8-12, 2021), CORDA will be hosting a virtual open house for those interested in shaping the future of the Dataverse! Join us on Friday, February 12th from 12-1pm ET to learn more about the Dataverse and our collecting policy draft.
To join our February 12th open house, please RSVP here. A Zoom meeting link will be sent automatically when you submit the RSVP form.
Unable to make the meeting? Share your suggestions for the Dataverse here.
CORDA will host another open house in 2021 to discuss core definitions of research, data, and assessment. Stay tuned!
