Call for candidates!

Would you like to help shape the direction of collection management standards, practices, and tools?  We are currently accepting nominations for the following positions:

• Vice-chair/Chair-Elect (2 year terms; 1 year as vice chair, 1 year as chair)
• Two Steering Committee Members (2 year term)
• Web Liaison (2 year term)

For more information about these roles and the section as a whole, please review the Collection Management Section microsite.  Time commitment for each position would consist of monthly meetings with occasional work between meetings.  Please note that SAA membership is required for service on the CMS Steering Committee.

If interested, please submit a brief biography and candidate statement (1-2 paragraphs each) describing your interest in serving on one of these positions by April 16th.  Nominations should be submitted to Sarah Jones, Vice-Chair, Collection Management Section, at sarah.jones1@unlv.edu.  Please feel free to reach out to her or any of the current office-holders with questions!
