Ruth Steele is Archivist, Center for Pacific Northwest Studies, WWU. She holds the degrees MA (Hons) History, University of Edinburgh;  and MA History with a certificate in Archives & Records Management, Western Washington University. She has served as a board member of Northwest Archivists and as member of the standards working group for the Northwest Digital Archives. Her teaching area is Arrangement and Description of Archives.
