The MLIS program may be completed online or in Columbia, MO, where most library and information science faculty are based, with clinical faculty in St. Louis and Kansas City, and Program Liaisons in Springfield and Omaha, NE.

Practicum/Internships/Assistantships Offered?

We require all students to complete a two- or three-hour practicum as part of the degree. The practicum provides real-world experience in libraries and information agencies.

Students will gain evaluative and analytical skills to respond flexibly and adaptably to future changes and challenges, and can engage in research projects with SISLT faculty; for more see
