The tour includes brief introductions to the library, archives, animal registry, histology slide collection, native seed bank, and the Frozen Zoo gene bank. In addition, tour participants will have the opportunity to enter the San Diego Zoo Safari Park free of charge immediately following the tour. All time in the Safari Park will be unguided and attendees are free to explore at will.
