Description: Join the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum for a one-hour docent-led tour, which provides an overview of the history of San Diego's Chinatown, Chinese art and culture, the museum's Asian garden, and an explanation of the current featured exhibit and permanent collection. Our forthcoming Archive and Learning Center is currently under construction, but we would be happy to discuss our exciting plans for the facility that is scheduled to be opening by late fall 2012. The tour begins in the museum's permanent collection building, located on the corner of 3rd Ave. and J St. in downtown San Diego. The tour continues into the Chuang Garden, and then concludes at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Extension Building where the rotating exhibits and museum library are located.

Turn left onto East Harbor Dr. Turn right onto 5th Ave. Turn left onto K St. Turn right onto 3rd Ave. The museum will be on the left at 404 3rd Ave.
