Conference Registration

We are pleased to invite you to attend SAA's 90th Annual Meeting in New Orleans! Regardless of whether you attend in person or remote, you will have full access to recorded content after the conference. Your registration fees help offset rising costs associated with hotel and audiovisual services while also sustaining SAA’s ongoing initiatives, including advocacy efforts, scholarly publications, educational programming, and professional development opportunities.

Your Registration Includes:

  1. Access to the conference starting Wednesday, July 29, at the conference hotel and on the virtual conference platform.
  2. Forty sessions accepted by the Program Committee, along with two plenaries, open forums, vendor mini-theaters, and a variety of other networking events.
  3. Dedicated networking opportunities throughout the conference—connect with peers, exchange ideas during sessions, and build relationships that can lead to future collaborations.
  4. All recorded content will be available on demand to conference registrants after the meeting.
  5. Exclusive access to the Exhibit Hall—a must-visit destination during the SAA Annual Meeting—featuring a growing lineup of industry partners, hands-on demos, and opportunities to discover new tools and services.
  6. Professional and Graduate Student posters will be displayed in the Exhibit Hall and on the conference platform. See the online schedule to read descriptions and plan to engage with presenters on Thursday and Friday.
  7. SAA Section and appointed group meetings will occur between May and June, online via Webex. All meetings will be free for anyone to attend live or to view on-demand afterward (if groups choose to record). See the schedule to register for your Section and Committee meetings. 
  8. The SAA Research Forum will occur as two 4-hour virtual sessions on Wednesday, July 8 and Wednesday, July 15. See presentation descriptions and register online, here

Important Registration Information

Cancellations and Refunds: If you need to cancel your registration, written requests to servicecenter@archivists.org must be received by June 1, 2026, to qualify for a full refund. A $169 administrative fee will be applied to cancellations made between June 1 and June 24. No refunds will be processed after June 24, 2026.

*Guest Registration: Guests (spouses and children of conference attendees) may purchase a pass to attend Plenary Sessions and the Exhibit Hall.
