July – August 2024

Pre-conference Activities

SAA will host a variety of events and governance activities virtually July 1 - August 1, prior to the Annual Meeting, including the SAA Research Forum, SAA Section meetings, and appointed group (i.e., committee, board, and task force) meetings. (Free to attend. RSVP required for Zoom security.)

August 14-17 2024

Wednesday, August 14

User group meetings and repository tours will be held, along with a selection of other events. Please check the full schedule starting in May for more details.

Thursday, August 15 – Saturday, August 17

Three days of programming—starting at 8:00 am CT on Thursday, August 15, and running through 3:00 pm CT on Saturday, August 17—that includes (with Registration fee):

• Two plenaries (hybrid),
• Fourty-six education sessions accepted by the Program Committee will be presented in either virtual, in-person, or hybrid formats,
• The Open Forums,
• Professional and graduate student posters will be on display in the conference hotel and on a dedicated page on the conference platform,
• The Expo Hall,
• Vendor Mini-Theater Presentations,
• Career Center services, and
• Multiple networking events, virtual conversation lounges, and receptions.

After August 17

Session Recordings (Included in Registration Fee)

Additionally, in the days and weeks following the conference, all plenary and program session recordings will be available for on-demand viewing for all conference registrants.
