December 11, 2018—SAA called on the Senate Rules and Administration Committee today to vote “no” on mark up of S. 1010, the Register of Copyrights Selection and Accountability Act, which would remove the Register of Copyrights from direction by the Librarian of Congress and thus diminish Congress’ constitutionally mandated authority regarding copyright.
