SAA Fellow, past president, and bibliophile William L. Joyce, 79, passed away on June 6, 2021, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
June 9, 2021—Jacqualine Price Osafo, MBA, CAE, vice president of membership for the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), has been selected as the new executive director of the Society of American Archivists and will officially assume the post July 15, 2021.
June 1, 2021—The SAA Foundation Board awards grants that meet the mission and goals of the Foundation and/or SAA’s strategic planning priorities. Now in its sixth year of the program, the Foundation is pleased to announce the following grant projects:
