Call for Artwork: Celebrate SAA’s 90th Anniversary

CHICAGO—The Society of American Archivists (SAA) is excited to celebrate its ninetieth anniversary in 2026. This year marks nearly a century of advancing archival practice, supporting archives and records professionals, and championing the preservation of the historical record. To honor this milestone, SAA is inviting its artistic members to submit an original graphic design commemorating this anniversary. The chosen artwork will be used on a free commemorative sticker at this summer’s Annual Meeting in New Orleans and will be included on SAA’s website.

What We're Looking For

SAA is seeking designs that reflect:

  • The history, mission, and values of SAA
  • The changing work of archives and archivists
  • The spirit of community, professional collaboration, and knowledge sharing that defines SAA

Designs may take a wide range of visual approaches—from modern to historic to anything in between. Creativity is encouraged. Please do not submit AI-generated designs
