Volunteer for the SAA Foundation—Board and Committees

February 14, 2023—The SAA Foundation Board invites applications from individuals interested in serving on the Board or a Foundation committee! SAA membership is not required to serve on the Foundation. Learn more below and submit your application(s) by March 14.


Foundation Board

The SAA Foundation Board of Directors seeks to fill four positions on the Board, for three-year terms starting in August 2023. Learn more, including Key Qualities for Board Members and FAQs for Board Service, here.

Foundation Committees

The SAA Foundation is also seeking volunteers to serve one-year appointments on the following committees:

 


 

All applications are due by March 14. The experiences and skills necessary for these positions may differ significantly from those required for other SAA leadership appointments.

The SAA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, chartered in 2011, with a mission to support and enhance the work and welfare of the archival community in all its diversity, through research grants, scholarships, and recognition of excellence in the profession. The Foundation's core work is to grow a reserve of funds that can support increasingly substantial efforts to improve the archives profession.
