Conor Casey Assumes Leadership as SAA Council Member for 2023-2024

October 24, 2023—In a remarkable leadership shift, the Society of American Archivists (SAA) welcomes Conor Casey, Head of Labor Archives of Washington at the University of Washington Libraries, as its new Council member for the 2023-2024 term. This transition follows the departure of Stephen Curley, who had been instrumental in advancing SAA. 

The archival community eagerly anticipates the initiatives and advancements that Casey will bring to the SAA Council. With his collaboration, the SAA Council is poised to continue its mission of promoting the highest standards in archival management, outreach, and education, ensuring the rich tapestry of our history endures for generations to come.
