Meet the SAA Vice President Candidates! Submit Questions for Open Town Hall

February 15, 2022—Are you interested in hearing from the 2022 candidates for SAA Vice President/President-Elect? Join us for a town hall discussion with Ricardo Punzalan (University of Michigan) and Helen Wong Smith (University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, Hamilton Library). The SAA Nominating Committee will host a virtual town hall on Wednesday, March 9 at 3:00 pm EST / 10:00 am HST.

Ask the Candidates!

Have something to ask the candidates? Submit a question for the candidates to answer during the town hall! This is your opportunity to learn about the candidates’ goals and priorities for SAA. We welcome questions from individuals or from SAA component groups. Submit questions here by Wednesday, March 2. 

2022 SAA Election

Information about all candidates will be available on the SAA website soon. Voters will be able to access their online ballot between March 7 and March 25, 2022. All full individual members, student members, and primary contacts of institutional members who are in good standing on March 1, 2022, will be eligible to vote in the 2022 Election.

The SAA Code of Conduct governs expectations of appropriate conduct for this and all SAA events.
