September 3, 2021—SAA is concerned for our archival colleagues and all those whose lives have been affected by the recent destruction caused by Hurricane Ida. Our thoughts are with you, and wishes everyone a smooth and swift recovery.
We encourage you to share the following resources with any cultural institutions that may need help recovering from damages. Institutions in need are encouraged to apply for a National Disaster Recovery Fund for Archives grant from the SAA Foundation for immediate recovery efforts. To support institutions and archivists affected by these disasters, consider making a donation to the NDRFA fund.
