Friday, November 5, 2021, 12:00PM – 1:30PM CT

Wondering what it takes to write a research article? Draft a book proposal? Prepare a case study on archives practice? Review a professional resource? Define terminology in the archival lexicon?

There are a range of opportunities to write for SAA and to contribute to its newsletters, blogs, case studies series, reviews portal, magazine, journal, dictionary, and books. Whether you are a novice writer, continuing to hone your skills, or an experienced voice, learn how you can share your experiences and expertise through the professional literature at this free virtual forum on Friday, November 5, 2021, from 12:00PM to 1:30PM CT.

RSVP required for Zoom security.

At the forum, SAA Director of Publishing Teresa Brinati will kick-off a discussion with American Archivist Editor Amy Cooper Cary, Journal Reviews Editor Bethany Anderson, Publications Editor Stacie Williams, Archival Outlook Editor Abigail Christian, and Dictionary Working Group Chair Rosemary Pleva Flynn. Each will highlight their respective publishing outlet and address how to submit content, topic trends, and new directions. There will be a Q&A session following the presentations as well as how to connect with editors after the forum.
