2022 SAA Election: Call for Nominations

June 29, 2021—SAA’s 2021 Nominating Committee needs your help identifying potential candidates for the

2022 Society of American Archivists election ballot! The SAA Nominating Committee invites nominations of candidates for the following open positions:

• Vice President/President-Elect (2022-2024)

• Council Member (2022-2025) 3 open positions

• Nominating Committee (2023) 3 open positions

SAA’s elected leaders make critical contributions to the Society’s success.  All positions require energy, talent, and the willingness and availability to perform whatever work is required, and each position carries particular responsibilities. Read more about each position here.

Are YOU interested in taking on a leadership role with SAA? Do you know of an individual who would be a great candidate for SAA leadership? Nominate yourself or a colleague now! All submissions are anonymous and confidential, and will be forwarded to the Nominating Committee. Submit a nomination by August 15, 2021. 

Prospective candidates must be current SAA members as of November 15, 2021. The 2022 SAA election slate of candidates will be announced no later than January 2022.
