126 Archival Workers Supported by AWEF

June 15, 2020To date, the Archival Workers Emergency Fund has supported 126 archival workers in need! Thank you to the AWEF Review Committee for their diligent work each week to get these fund dispersed!

And thank you to our many generous donors for making this possible. We have raised nearly $93,000 from 630 donors. In addition to their initial $15,000 seed funding, the SAA Foundation Board has committed an additional $6,000 to support the fund.

Currently, the fund is nearly depleted, as we continue to receive new applications each day and the Review Committee works to approve applications as soon as possible. If you have the means and have not yet contributed, consider making a donation to ensure funding is available for archival workers in need!

Much gratitude and thanks to all those who have contributed in so many ways to the Archival Workers Emergency Fund!
