The Performing Arts Section (PAS) of SAA provides a collaborative space for early-career and established archivists, students, interns, and other library and information science professionals interested in the world of performing arts archives.
Section members are encouraged to ask questions, learn from one another, and exchange information on historical and contemporary documentation of music, dance, theater, motion pictures, and other performance media by posting in our discussion forum. Our initiatives include hosting webinars and events on the topic of performing arts archives, posting through social media, and operating a blog about issues and topics of interest and concern to section members.
Membership to SAA is required to join our PAS community. To complete your membership, be sure to select the “Join” option in the list of “My Groups” for the Performing Arts Section.
