You will be voting for:

Chair: Patrick Midtlyng
Patrick Midtlyng is the Head of Archival Description for the Recorded Sound Section at the Library of Congress’s National Audiovisual Conservation Center, where he oversees the ingest, organization, inventory control and cataloging of all unpublished recorded sound and manuscript collection items. Before LC, Patrick served as the Audio and Moving Image Archivist for the Special Collections Research Center and the Sound Archivist for the Belfer Audio Archive at Syracuse University. He began working with archival audio collections as a graduate assistant at the University of Chicago, where he earned his M.A in Linguistics in 2007.
Vice Chair/Chair-Elect: Felicia Boretzky
Felicia Boretzky has been the Audio & Moving Image Specialist for the Rodgers and Hammerstein Archives of Recorded Sound at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts since 2017. At NYPL, she handles the intake, storage, and preservation of RHA’s rare & obsolete archival audio and moving image materials, as well as overseeing the identification, condition assessment, and metadata creation prior to digitization. She also serves as a public librarian providing reference for the Library’s circulating and research materials. Prior to NYPL, Felicia was a Preservation Program Specialist at The MediaPreserve, an audiovisual digitization laboratory, where she managed media digital conversion projects for museums, libraries, archives and private corporations, counseling clients in the processing, description and arrangement of their mixed-media collections. She also worked and attended a vast array of national and regional conferences, including SAA, advising attendees on preservation project planning and offering digitization guidance. During this time, Felicia was chosen to be on the Pennsylvania Cultural Response Team to help with emergencies and disaster preparedness involving cultural institutions across the state. She received her MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh with a specialization in Archives, Preservation and Records Management.
