The Archival History Section invites you to mark your calendars for our annual meeting.  

The meeting will be held on Monday, Aug 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM (CT) via Zoom. Please note that you must register to attend. That said, note that you do not need to be an SAA member, a Section member (here of the Archival History Section), or be registered for the conference. But, you must register for the online AHS meeting for Zoom security reasons. We look forward to seeing you.

At the meeting, we will have a short business meeting, go over some of our activities in the past year, and present awards. We are also lucky to look forward to two speakers:

Petrina Jackson, Lia Gelin Poorvu Executive Director of the Schlesinger Library, Harvard University, will speak on "Outsider Leading from the Inside: Journeying through Archives Leadership as a Disrupter" and

Micha Broadnax,  Project Manager, The Black Teacher Archives Project, Harvard Graduate School of Education Research, will speak on "Professional Concerns: Reflections on Organizing the Black Teacher Archive."
