SAA Membership Committee Welcomes You to Chicago

The SAA Membership Committee is responsible for identifying the needs of members and working with Council to develop member services, increase membership, keep membership informed, welcome new members, and identify the needs and perceptions of both members and nonmembers.

We provide the following programs and services:

  1. The Career Services Commons provides career counseling, resume review, presentation practice, mock interviews, and an interview question bank.
  2. The Key Contact Program welcomes new members through a national network of volunteers.
  3. The Mentoring Program connects participants with shared interests for 6-month one-on-one mentoring or cohorts organized around specific themes.
  4. The Navigator Program is a short-term networking opportunity during the SAA Annual Meeting that matches experienced Annual Meeting attendees with newer meeting attendees.
  5. The Membership Committee Blog shares the work of the committee and its programs.
