Kaitlin Holt

Kaitlin Holt is the Program Manager of Brooklyn Connections, an award winning school outreach program based out of the Brooklyn Public Library’s local history archive, the Brooklyn Collection. Since joining Brooklyn Connections in 2013, Kaitlin has co-facilitated over three dozen educator professional development workshops on themes around how to infuse primary source analysis and archival research into K-12 curriculum. She has also presented best practices in archival education at various industry forums throughout the country, including MARAC, NCPH, NCHE and NYLA, to name a few.

Prior to joining the Brooklyn Public Library, Kaitlin worked simultaneously as a public programs facilitator at the Immigration Museum and event manager at an education conference provider, both located in Melbourne, Australia. Other previous experience includes working as an educator at the British Museum’s Samsung Digital Discovery Centre and at the Victoria & Albert Museum’s Theatre & Performance Archive. She earned an M.A. in Museum Studies in 2010 from the University College London and B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005.
