Emily Collier has been working as a specialist in web archiving since 2019. She originally joined the University of Kentucky Libraries' Special Collections Research Center as a Web Archiving Specialist in 2019, eventually working as the Assistant University Archivist. In these roles, she was a leader in developing the Web Archiving Program and has presented internationally on best practices for appraisal and preservation of web content. She is now starting a new position as Data Management Specialist for the University of Kentucky's Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence where she will liaison with the Special Collections Research Center on AI applications for archival access and processing. She has an undergraduate degree in Art History, Theory and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a graduate degree in Library Science from the University of Kentucky.
