Description: 

Archon™ is an open-source application available for managing descriptive information about archival records and manuscript collections. This webinar will provide an overview of Archon’s installation and configuration, demonstrate its collections management and digital library functions, and review simple strategies for customizing Archon’s public interface and importing legacy data.

Guided tour of Archon’s public and administrative interfaces
Demonstration of Archon’s staff user/data input functions
Exporting EAD and MARC records from Archon

Utilizing simple CSV tables to import legacy data and batch load new data
