This class surveys the problems of sustaining born-digital, multi- and cross-media content; the questions of scalability ranging from large institutional repositories to personal digital archives; and the range of approaches emanating from the public, private and academic sectors. Students will also explore the role that digital preservation/curation plays in an overall preservation-management strategy.
