May 5, 2020—Thank you for your patience as we’ve weighed the options for proceeding with the 2020 Joint Annual Meeting. We’re pleased to report that SAA has negotiated an agreement with the Hilton Chicago to cancel the 2020 in-person conference and to meet in Chicago in August 2024 instead.
There are many details to be worked out about what a virtual “Creating Our Future” will look like. Be assured that we have heard your concerns about slashed professional development and travel budgets, furloughs, and other financial constraints. We’re currently exploring ideas for keeping registration fees as low as possible while also providing the best possible conference experience for you.
For the moment, please save the dates–August 3-8–and be on the lookout for communication from SAA about next steps. Stay tuned!
