Support SAA's Mosaic Scholars!

You can help the next generation of
SAA Mosaic Scholars celebrate their graduation!

The Mosaic Scholarship Fund is the SAA Foundation’s principal means of supporting our long-standing priority to create a diverse profession and ensure an inclusive historical record. The highly competitive scholarship program provides $5,000 in financial support to students of color pursuing graduate education in archival science.

Since 2008, the Mosaic Scholarship has been awarded to 16 talented young people who are now prepared and eager to advance the profession. Past recipients have remained active in SAA, developing their networks and leadership skills and taking those connections into their own workplaces.

2011 Mosaic Scholarship recipient Helen Kim, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and now at the Getty Research Institute, told us:

Aditi Worcester, of the San Diego County ARCC, was the 2012 Mosaic Scholarship awardee while at UTA.  Here’s what she has to say about the scholarship:

Even as we seek additional ways to sustain the scholarship program, we need your help in ensuring its viability for the next few years. It’s critically important to potential partners and funding institutions that we demonstrate our commitment to our diversity and inclusion goals through our members’ own financial support of the Mosaic Scholarship Fund.  No gift is too small to make a difference for our next generation!

Please help support more students of color on their path to becoming archivists. Give to the Mosaic Scholarship Fund today!
