SAA Signs on to Letter Regarding Data Provisions in Executive Orders on Immigration

March 22, 2017—SAA has signed on to an Open The Government.org letter to Homeland Security Secretary Kelly and Attorney General Sessions that expresses concern “…about certain provisions in the recent Executive Orders related to immigration and refugees. The provisions call for the collection and dissemination of personal information that selectively targets certain populations and reverses a decades-old policy that provides certain Privacy Act protections to immigrants and foreigners. Based on agency implementation memos, it appears that these provisions are being implemented in a manner that is unlawful and inconsistent with federal information quality guidelines, raising serious privacy, transparency, and accountability concerns.” Read the full letter here.

When the door of my washer

When the door of my washer started malfunctioning, I was stumped and a bit anxious about dealing with water leaks or potential safety issues. Fortunately, I found the guide from Service Servotech https://serviceservotech.com/2023/05/washer-door-not-closing-problem/ on how to troubleshoot and fix a washer door that won't close. Their clear, step-by-step instructions made it easy for me to identify the problem with the latch and fix it myself. It saved me from a costly service call and taught me more about my appliance.
