As SAA President Danna Bell indicated in her recent post, the SAA Council has appointed a short-term working group to consider issues related to the Archives and Archivists listserv. Our role is to gather feedback from you and explore options to improve the list. We will also be reviewing the list’s Terms of Participation.
The working group consists of four people: incoming SAA Vice President/President-Elect Dennis Meissner, new archives professional and SAA member Samantha Winn, long-time SAA and listserv member Christine Di Bella, and SAA Web and Information Systems Administrator Matt Black.
We invite any stakeholders to participate in this process, regardless of SAA or list membership. We want to hear from you, whether you are an active participant on the current list, a reader, a past participant, or even someone who questions the need for its existence.
The best way to make your voice heard in this process is to:
Complete a brief survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BPD5JVZ
and/or
Email additional comments and suggestions to us at AA-feedback@archivists.org
We will receive survey responses and comments until July 22, 2014.
We will also review statistics about list participation over time and comments submitted to SAA or shared in public forums. Members of this group are also happy to receive comments if you prefer to contact us directly.
Thank you in advance for your participation. With your help, we are confident that we can draft a set of proposals to support and improve communication among those concerned with archives and archival issues.

Hey everyone, gotta share this. A friend mentioned Grey Eagle Casino while we were complaining about boring nights in Canada. I clicked out of curiosity and instantly got pulled in. The interface is simple, spins are fast, and the games actually feel fair. I spent way too long messing around, laughing at my small wins, and trying out every slot. It’s weirdly addictive and the perfect way to kill time without frustration.
