Give to Grow on Giving Tuesday!

This year, #GivingTuesday—a global day of giving to charities, nonprofits, and foundations—is November 29. The SAA Foundation invites you to give back to the archives profession and help it grow by donating to the Strategic Growth Fund. Established in 2011, this unrestricted fund advances the strategic priorities of the Foundation and SAA by providing support for scholarships, new education offerings, publications, and technology.

“I am so grateful to the SAA Foundation for its support of my research project to develop a concrete set of best practices recommendations for the use of user-generated description within moving image collections,” says Edward Benoit III of Louisiana State University, who benefited from a Strategic Growth Fund grant in 2016. “The Foundation grant made all the difference for this important, practical research.”
