Day of Giving 2018

Summer is heating up and so is the SAA Foundation!

This year, the SAA Foundation has: 

• Awarded more than $31,000 in grants from the Strategic Growth Fund to support eight projects; 

• Provided $10,000 in travel awards to help 10 individuals travel to and attend the 2018 Joint Annual Meeting; 

• Announced the 2018 Mosaic Scholarship recipient, Alexis Recto of the University of California, Los Angeles; and

• Provided more than $37,000 from the National Disaster Recovery Fund for Archives to support recovering institutions in Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and Mexico. 

From disaster relief grants to awards and scholarships to Strategic Growth grants, the Foundation has been active in supporting initiatives that help grow the archives profession—and we need your help to keep these important initiatives going!

Make a gift on June 28, SAA's Day of Giving, to one or more of the SAA Foundation's funds. Foundation Board members have pledged matching gifts of up to $4,300. Give now and make a difference in the profession!
