Anthony Kurtz

Tony Kurtz is the University Archivist and Records Manager at WWU.  He received his MA (History) with a certificate in Archives and Records Management from WWU.  Tony was formerly an assistant regional archivist for Washington State Archives, providing archives and records management services to local government.  He has served as board member and president of Northwest Archivists (2010-11); on SAA’s DC2010 program committee and chair of the DC2010 student program subcommittee; and as a member of the Northwest Digital Archives Executive/Steering Committee, chair of the NWDA Usability Design Working Group, and is currently WWU’s representative on the NWDA Committee.  His teaching area is Records and Information Management.
