A web-based introduction to information science theory and fundamentals of educational technology adn computing. Course examines social, cultural, historical, and political ramifications related to invention, adoption, and diffusion of information techology in education. Impact of technology on information and the ethical treatment of information in a technologically-enhanced school environment are examined.
