The Society of Alabama Archivists (SALA) is composed of archivists throughout Alabama as well as people from other states who are interested in Alabama history. Its members include archivists from the Alabama Department of Archives and History, the state's municipalities and counties, its colleges and universities, its military installations, and its many special topic archives.
