New England Archivists of Religious Institutions (NEARI), founded in 1989, provides archivists responsible for collections of religious institutions a means to share common interests and concerns. Its focus is on general archival matters, as well as those which are characteristic of archives of religious institutions. NEARI publishes two newsletters yearly, and conducts an annual conference. Membership is open to archivists, as well as to those with a professional interest in religious archives.
