The Archivists of Religious Institutions is an active group of archivists whose members represent various religious affiliations. The membership includes many who are 'lone arrangers' and from small-scale archival repositories. Membership is open to archivists working in any religious organization, institution or agency, but primarily in the New York Metropolitan area, including New Jersey and Connecticut. The ARI holds two meetings per year on topics determined by the Board, based on member feedback.
