Education and training of archivists is central to SAA’s vision and evidenced in these goals:
- Provide access to the professional resources archivists need to be successful and effective in their careers.
- Provide content via the Annual Meeting, education, and publications that reflects the latest thinking and best practices in the field.
- Deliver information and education via methods that are accessible, affordable, and keep pace with technological change.
- Review, expand, and continually improve SAA’s course and conference content to address both archival fundamentals and the latest thinking and best practices in the field.
