A lawsuit filed by Eric Eldred and others that challenged the constitutionality of the Copyright Term Extension Act. SAA filed an Amicus Brief with a number of other organizations for the plaintiff, but in January 2003 the Supreme Court ruled against Eldred, allowing Copyright to be extended.
