SAA Foundation Annual Meeting Awards Support 60 Archivists

August 8, 2022—The SAA Foundation Board is pleased to announce that more than $20,000 has been awarded to 60 archivists to support their attendance at ARCHIVES*RECORDS 2022. Congratulations to all!

Ten archivists have been awarded $1,200 to support travel and in-person attendance at the 2022 SAA Annual Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts. Recipients were chosen based on financial need and how attendance would contribute to their professional development.

Two additional in-person awards, for $1,100 each, were made possible by generous support from fellow attendees and sponsors Atlas Systems, Inc., and LYRASIS. Thank you! 

Forty-four archivists received complimentary virtual registration to the conference, and four local applicants received complimentary in-person registration for the conference. 

These Annual Meeting Awards are made possible by the SAA Foundation Strategic Growth Fund, which supports the Foundation’s strategic priorities, including professional and public education, publications, and research.
