Two New SAA Books in Production

Two titles. Two much-anticipated debuts. In production and ready to launch at DC 2010 this August are two new SAA books:

  • The Ethical Archivist, Elena S. Danielson
    Illustrates how daily decisions made by archivists connect to larger issues of social responsibility and the need to construct a balanced and accurate historical record.
  • How to Keep Union Records, Edited by Michael Nash
    Addresses building relationships with the unions, developing collecting policies that support current labor history scholarship, adapting appraisal theory to the unique challenges of labor union archives, and arranging and describing collections.

Cheers, weirdest gaming session happened after I told myself I’d stay away from fast-paced stuff for a while because my reactions were completely cooked after a long day. Then somebody dropped https://chicken-road-app-india.com/ in our group chat, I opened the chicken road game out of curiosity, and suddenly I’m arguing with myself over whether to cash out or squeeze one more jump. Bad idea. Lost a decent multiplier because greed kicked in for half a second. What gets me is the rhythm — no slow buildup, no endless animations, everything snaps forward so fast your brain barely settles. Had a couple ugly rounds, then one clean streak that flipped the mood instantly and made the whole thing feel ridiculously intense. Tiny lesson from my side: the second your hands start hovering nervously over the button, that’s usually your signal to play smaller and stop forcing heroic exits.
