 1. Comp Exam:  Check course questions starting on Page 5 – 10 for “egregious errors or issues; if they are generally passable, then we can review them in context with their courses.

  1. Providing Access: Martzahl developed the webinar, followed by a half-day course which was not offered as planned due to time constraints – needs more exercises?  It is scheduled in OR in the spring.  Bishoff will audit, Schaefer will be new liaison. Put on next call agenda.  Martzahl and Faulder will work on that.  Hands on sent from Ghering;

Correct in description seminar versus (digital versus

  1. Approval of October minutes – questions?
    1. Thinking Digital – last updated in 2013, includes digitization and should really be all born digital.  Due to retire – since we point to it for so many courses – should replacement or interim update be there before we take it off the list?

Keep content as is but rework content that is about digitization; Shouldn’t be replaced it’s s in a lot of classes; 

Martzahl to submit course outline;

Leave questions about it until Feb. 2016 in comp exam

Retire questions in February within cycle;

Keep digitization references in DAS content – some aspects because it is being done; in reality archivists are faced with born digital and have it reformatted; digital object because we don’t have the analog version; provide contrast; let instructors know;

  1. Idea – Audit/Certification webinar – replacement for TRAC, Sibyl may be able to develop.  See Teresa’s note:
    1. Solveig- As you may be aware, this week a new volume in the series Trends in Archives Practice was published: “Module 8: Becoming a Trusted Digital Repository” by Steve Marks. The author has been superb to work with. In his message below, he indicates he would be interested in developing a web seminar!!! 

As soon as the June 30 web seminar experiment with Module 2 is successfully (!) presented, the Publications Board would like to explore doing one on Module 8 and would be interested in your thoughts. I can provide a copy of Module 8 for your reference.

Bishoff to talk with Sybil about IPRES how audit and certification is positioned – take a different approach?  Audit and Assessment as an introduction?

Order of volatility? New term? – Mahnaz volunteered to re-write
