Discussion Items 1 - 8:  7 minutes each.

1. Update about Accessioning and Ingest – Glen

Elizabeth Perkes from Utah State Archives and Erin Faulder from Tufts will be able to teach, so the class is going forward. Content is now all set and both instructors have added some content (case studies, examples, videos), so the course was improved and is ready to go. First offering is June 28 in Provo at BYU. 

2. Preserving Digital Archives – Liz

Kelcy Shepherd and Liz Bishoff are teaching, Vicki McCargar dropped out – too busy, Kelcy and Liz have finished .ppt and exercises still in development. 

3. Digital Forensics – Solveig

Cal has given an ultimatum. Kam Woods will be team teaching with him. Need for new instructors, anyone else who can help teach this course? Let Solveig know. 

4. Comprehensive Exam update

July test has been scrapped. First offer of exam will be at SAA in NOLA. 

5. Drupal Microsite

Still some secutity issues, particularly with the exams. Going to use Google docs site for exams. 

6. Faculty Meeting in New Orleans

2 hours, Wednesday, 12:00 – 2:00 (?) Some ideas for content – new courses introduction, providing item writing information to help with exams, review of present comp exam, Course Maintenance Schedule and the Instructor Checklist.

7. Instructor Checklist

Tabled to next meeting, addressed after item 8.

8. Development/Maintenance Chart

Solveig has produced a work in progress. Have a look, please, and make suggestions. She emailed it to list. Will talk again about it next call.
