Action on selection of new members. Please respond

It is time to submit names for positions on the DAS subcommittee for next year as described. We received an extension for submission until tomorrow and  I would like the subcommittee's consent to send in the following names put together by Marty and me from the attached spreadsheet:

Julia Corrin – lone arranger perspective could be very helpful, long-term involvement in the field and administrative position (university archivist), east coast

Benn Joseph – previous DAS course experience, teaching experience, Midwest, mid-career (6-11 years in field, head of archival processing)

Margaret Roulett – early in the profession, historical society/museum experience, midwest

Alternate:

Tom Rosko - Previous DAS subcommittee member with a strong digital program management background, as well as a DAS instructor - from the Northeast university
Tamar Zeffren – heavy reference to facilitation and collecting input in description, non-traditional archival org (other non-profit), mid-career (6-10 years in field)

We sought candidates that brought a diverse background to balance the subcommittee and some with DAS course experience. Please let me know by tomorrow if  additional names from the attached spreadsheet should be considered or if an alternate should be moved up to the top three
Martin and I also feel that Jeni Spammer should be recommended as Vice Chair/Chair elect based on her strong activity on the committee to date.
We seek your comments and hopefully quick approval for these appointments to be forwarded as recommendations to SAA Appointments Committee
