Fourteen candidates vying for three different offices are slated for SAA’s 2022 ballot (see box at right). In the box at right, click on each candidate's name to read their brief bio, diversity statement, and response to the questions posed by this year's Nominating Committee.

The candidate elected Vice President will serve a one-year term beginning in August 2022 and then will become SAA’s 79th President in 2023–2024. There are three available seats on the Council; those elected will serve three-year terms beginning in August and running through the 2025 Annual Meeting. The three candidates elected to the 2023 Nominating Committee will serve one-year terms beginning immediately.

Questions were developed by SAA's 2022 Nominating Committee: Angel Diaz (chair), Alison Clemens, Dave J. Moore, and Council members Eric Chin and Mario Ramirez. Each candidate prepared a diversity statement according to SAA guidelines.
