FAQs for Partner Organizations

How can my organization get involved?

Your organization can get involved by sharing its member contact list to be invited to the All Archivists Survey. The contact list should include first names, last names, and email addresses to enable distribution. All lists will be kept confidential and only used for distributing the All Archivists Survey. Your organization can also get involved by agreeing to promote an open-access survey link through its membership. If your organization would like to share its list or promote the survey, please contact: Jacqualine Price Osafo at jpriceosafo@archivists.org as soon as possible.

Organizations that partner with SAA by sharing contact lists or promoting the survey will receive a preview of the All Archivists Survey findings prior to the public release of findings.

My organization is not able to share its member contact list, but we’d still like to support A*CENSUS II. Is there another way for my organization to get involved?

Yes. If your organization cannot share its member list, but would like to support A*CENSUS II, it can distribute an open-access survey link to its members via email or post this link on its website or social media. If your organization would like to distribute a survey link or post the link on its website, please contact: Makala Skinner, Ithaka S+R project lead, at makala.skinner@ithaka.org 

My organization has already shared its member list. Is there anything else we can do to support A*CENSUS II?

Yes. You can let members know when they should start checking their inbox for the invite and/or post an open-access survey link on your website or share it on social media. If your organization would like an anonymous survey link for its website or social media, please contact: Makala Skinner, Ithaka S+R project lead, at makala.skinner@ithaka.org
