Sibyl Schaefer

Sibyl Schaefer is the Metadata Librarian for the University of Vermont’s Center for Digital Initiatives, where she provides metadata expertise for digital resources and manages the Center’s digitization and metadata projects. She currently is a member of the Society of American Archivists’ Standards Committee and the Technical Subcommittee for the Revision of DACS.

She previously served as the User Services Liaison on the Archivists’ Toolkit project, and as the Digital Image Library Manager for Clear Channel Outdoor. She received her MLIS from the University of California, Los Angeles.
