Position Statements & Resolutions

From time to time the SAA Council (or its Executive Committee) may take a position on an issue of importance to the profession or the association or may choose to recognize individuals or organizations with resolutions commending their work.  Following is a list of selected SAA position statements and resolutions.  Note that the formats may range from a formal Council-adopted resolution to a letter from the SAA president expressing the sense of Council discussions.  For more information, refer to the Council minutes or contact an SAA staff member at saahq@archivists.org.
