Menzi Behrnd-Klodt

Menzi L. Behrnd-Klodt is an archivist and an attorney, holding advanced degrees from the University of Wisconsin in history, library and information science, and law. She is VP/General Counsel for Xyte, Inc., a human behavior research firm, and formerly was corporate counsel for American Girl Brands, LLC, a children's book publisher and toy company and subsidiary of Mattel, Inc.

Menzi specializes in intellectual properties, copyright, contract law, entertainment law, and licensing, as well as oversees the corporate archives and records programs. In addition to authoring Navigating Legal Issues in Archives (2008), she has co-edited with Peter J. Wosh Privacy and Confidentiality Perspectives: Archivists and Archival Records (2005).
